We are the Eshop Award team and our goal is to create the most successful
Conference and Competition ever in 2025!

“Hi, I am Péter Rácz, founder of the Eshop Award. In 2017, we organised our first event, and since then we have learned a lot of lessons and gained much sense of achievement. In retrospect, these have contributed greatly to the creation of an event where the conference is attended by nationally renowned professional lecturers and the competition is open to the most outstanding online retailers.

We have already held events in the Sofitel Hotel and the Spoon Ship, but this year we will host the Conference and the Awards Gala Dinner in the exclusive setting of ELTE University Congress Centre.

Our goal is that every online store can find its place in the market, use the competition to build brand awareness and win customers, while receiving recognition and walking away with valuable prizes.”

“Hi, I am Gergő Berta, founder of the Eshop Award. In 2017, we won the competition with our own online store, and since then we’ve had several of our clients receive podium awards in cooperation with our web and marketing agency. Thanks to our success in the industry, I first became a member of the professional jury, then I got involved in managing the marketing processes of the event.

By 2023, I became a co-owner of Eshop Award. We are ready for the next decade with new momentum, plans and goals to achieve what Hungarian online store owners want! This is the only business event where “small” and “giant” online shops, new and old-timers alike, compete on a level playing field.

Our event provides two divisions:

1. Division 1: exhibition area with about 25 sponsors from the best companies of the market, with 8 professional lectures during the day, attended by 600+ entrepreneurs.

2. Division 2: It is Hungary’s largest online store competition, where the awards for the 12 winners of the categories will be awarded at the Awards Gala, based on the assessments of an external 10-member professional jury, and then celebrated at the Gala Dinner with Gábor Gundel Takács and a comedian of Dumaszínház (stand up theatre).”

Core Values

BRANDING

Companies at the conference and in the competition contribute actively by their attendance to increase their image and acquaintance. They can meet the cream of the market and the professional scene.

COMPETITION

Every year, hundreds of online shops compete for the podium finishes. This year, we will give out 12 awards in 3 main catagories: Online stores with net annual turnover below HUF 30M, online stores with net annual turnover between HUF 30M and 300M, online stores with net annual turnover above HUF 300M. The 3 podium awards and a special award will be presented.

ACQUIRING CUSTOMERS

An entrepreneur’s main goal is to grow and achieve higher and higher turnover with a fair share of profit. An important goal of the event is to help participants gain new customers, partnerships and revenue.

RECOGNITION

In addition to attending the conference and participating in the competition, we will provide additional prizes and exposure opportunities for the participating companies that they can use on their social media platforms and communicate to their partners and customers. Not to mention the winners of the competition and the featured professional speakers and exhibitors.

EXCLUSIVITY

Our priority is to ensure that the quality of the venue, the event and the presentation is of a 5-star standard. After all, quality is one of the most important things for any online shop and its products.
